Although there are many digital platforms, software, and technologies available to Edinburgh College to students, there are only a few essential apps and websites that every student needs to use to stay updated and make the most of their time at the college.
Microsoft 365
Outlook, Teams and OneDrive are all Microsoft 365 applications.
Microsoft 365 is a platform created & maintained by Microsoft that provides access to various tools and software to help you work and communicate. Put simply, Microsoft 365 is the umbrella under which a whole host of different apps sit underneath.
As Edinburgh College is a Microsoft College, you have access to all of these apps, using your college network details to gain access.

It's the place where you can access all of the information you need to support your studies via MyEC, including info on timetables, attendance, your student card, absence forms and more.

It's where most courses will host all of your learning materials. It's also the primary location for any assessing that will happen on your course.

Teams is the platform your lecturers will contact you.
In addition to your college email account, your lecturers will use Teams to stay in touch with you on a regular basis.
